Clinical Excellence

Our Commitment

An absolute commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence and corporate responsibility underpins everything we do at Transform Hospital Group and is core to our identity as a healthcare services provider. We are committed to clinical best practice, governance and serving as a leading advocate for patient safety and wellbeing. We collaborate with regulators, industry bodies and government to ensure that the regulatory environment that structures the cosmetic interventions and bariatric surgery sectors is wholly aligned to that of the wider healthcare industry, and constantly evolves to fundamentally ensure that patient safety measures are as rigorous as possible.

Clinical governance

Transform Hospital Group’s industry-leading clinical governance processes and procedures are fundamentally underpinned by a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety. We are in continuous dialogue with our patients to ensure that the patient journey is consistent, innovative and adaptable.

We have a steadfast commitment to driving improvements to the patient safety environment across the cosmetic interventions sector, with a particular focus on non-surgical cosmetic interventions. We have been collaborating with regulators and policy makers to ensure that non-surgical cosmetic procedures are recognised as medical procedures, and are brought into line with the regulatory frameworks governing surgical cosmetic interventions. We treat all cosmetic procedures, whether they are surgical or non-surgical, with a uniform clinical governance process, and have been working with policymakers to make this a common standard across the industry.

Regulators

All our facilities are regulated by the oversight bodies that have jurisdiction in our operational areas – the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, the Healthcare Inspectorate Wales (HIW) and Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS). Surgeons and doctors working with Transform Hospital Group are all registered with the General Medical Council and all nurse prescribers are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Transform Hospital Group was the first medical aesthetics provider to partner with the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP). The JCCP is a register for cosmetic practitioners which was established to oversee the voluntary regulation of the cosmetic interventions sector in the UK.

Our partnership ensures that every Transform Hospital Group healthcare practitioner is a member of the JCCP Practitioner Register, and is signed up to the JCCP and Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority Joint Code of Practice.
