About us

TRANSFORM HOSPITAL GROUP

With a network of hospitals and clinics across the UK, Transform Hospital Group forms part of the Y1 Capital stable of healthcare businesses.

A household name in cosmetic surgery, Transform Hospital Group is also the leading provider of surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures in the UK and the country's foremost provider of bariatric surgery.

The company operates from two state-of-the-art hospitals – The Pines in Manchester and Burcot Hall near Birmingham – as well as via a nationwide network of clinics which includes most major towns and cities in the UK.

Consistently setting new standards within its sector, no longer is Transform Hospital Group simply a cosmetic surgery, weight loss and medical aesthetics provider - it's now an established healthcare and wellbeing organisation, and an innovator at the forefront of its industry.

While Transform Hospital Group is the overarching corporate brand, there are 3 individual sub-brands in the company's portfolio.

Corporate Social Responsibility

Transform Hospital Group is passionate about making a difference. As an organisation, we know that we must play a part in making positive change, and so we continually assess how we can give back to society through operating in a socially responsible and sustainable way.

Our employees are encouraged to act with sustainability in mind, taking steps to ensure that our environmental impact is minimised.

Giving something back to communities and good causes at home and abroad is a key organisational focus and Transform Hospital Group is proud to have partnered with several charities.

Our environmental commitment

At Transform Hospital Group, we understand that action to combat global warming needs to accelerate to protect the planet in the future.

Global warming is caused by ‘greenhouse gases’ in Earth's atmosphere, which trap heat. They let sunlight pass through the atmosphere, but they prevent the heat that the sunlight brings from leaving the atmosphere, raising the temperature of the planet. Sources of greenhouse gases include electricity production, emissions from burning fossil fuels like petrol for transportation, and heating.

Achieving a balance between the amount of greenhouse gas emissions we produce and the amount removed from the atmosphere is called Net Zero. We take our responsibilities towards the environment seriously, and we’re committed to reducing the impact that our business operations have on the world around us.

The emissions that we produce (or energy that we use) as an organisation can be broken down into Scopes 1,2 and 3:

Scope 1 – All emissions that come from our activity or which are under our control

Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from electricity purchased and used by the organisation

Scope 3 – All other indirect emissions from our organisational activities, from sources that we do not own and control

We have carried out a lot of work as we seek to improve our company’s environmental impact. Experts inspected our clinics and hospitals so that we could understand our current carbon footprint and use this as a baseline from which to improve. As a result, we have made the following environmental commitments:

  • A Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction of 6.7% year-on-year, reaching Net Zero by 2035
  • A Scope 3 emissions reduction in our supply chain to Net Zero by 2045

We will reduce our emissions through a range of decarbonisation options, with carbon reduction activity carried out on an continuous basis to achieve our Net Zero goal.
